IUS TLT Students Participate in the 18th Seminar for Turkish Language Educators
Senior students from the Turkish Language and Literature, Teaching (TLT) study program at the IUS Faculty of Education (FEDU), actively participated in the 18th Seminar for Turkish Language Teachers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The seminar, organized by the Yunus Emre Sarajevo Institute, took place from November 29 to December 1, 2024, and brought together educators and aspiring teachers to exchange knowledge and ideas.
The event provided an enriching experience for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th-year IUS students, who engaged in diverse lectures and interactive workshops. These sessions focused on contemporary teaching methods, the development of innovative educational materials, and the adoption of effective strategies for Turkish language instruction.
By working closely with experienced educators and peers, the students enhanced their teaching competencies and deepened their understanding of practical approaches to language education. This experience will undoubtedly contribute to their future roles as Turkish language teachers.
The seminar not only equipped students with new skills but also fostered collaboration and networking within the Turkish language teaching community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The IUS Faculty of Education remains committed to providing its students with such opportunities for professional development, ensuring they are well-prepared for their teaching careers.
